Skincare and beauty campaigns book differently from fashion. Here is how to get the right face, at the right rate, without losing a week to back-and-forth.
Beauty is the most exacting work a model does. A campaign for skincare or cosmetics lives at half a metre's distance — skin, eyes, hands — and a model who photographs beautifully at full length may not hold up in a tight beauty crop. When clients come to a modelling agency in London or a model agency in Manchester for a beauty or glamour campaign, the honest answer is a shorter list than they expect.
Clear skin matters less than photogenic skin — texture that takes light well. Beyond that it is patience: beauty days are slow, precise, and full of resets. The models on the FACES board who book beauty repeatedly are the ones make-up artists ask for by name afterwards.
Campaign season does not stay inside zone one. Our board shoots across London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Manchester, the North East and the wider UK — and a diverse board matters here more than anywhere, because beauty campaigns are finally being cast the way the country actually looks: black models, Asian models, mixed-race models, and every skin tone a foundation range now ships in.
To hold options on a face for a beauty campaign, send dates, usage and budget through the contact page. If you already know who you want, name them; if not, tell us the job and we will come back with the two or three who genuinely fit.
