Scam warning
People impersonate modelling agencies, ours included, to take money from people who have done nothing wrong. Everything on this page is true of us and always will be. Anything that breaks it is not us.
We will never
- Ask you to pay a fee to join the board, be considered, or be “kept on file”.
- Ask you to pay for a test shoot, portfolio or listing as a condition of representation.
- Ask for bank details, passport or ID before you have met us and signed a contract.
- Ask you to send nude or lingerie photographs as part of an application.
- Contact you from a free email address — gmail, outlook, hotmail — claiming to be us.
- Offer work that requires you to pay money, or to receive and forward money for us.
- Ask you to buy gift cards, vouchers or cryptocurrency, for any reason at all.
- Rush you. A real agency gives you time to check, and to ask someone you trust.
How to check it is us
Every genuine email from us comes from our own domain. If an approach arrives from anywhere else, treat it as fake — however convincing the pictures, contracts and logos look. All of those are easy to copy. The domain is the hard part, which is exactly why it is the thing to check.
If you are unsure, do not reply to the message. Come to the contact page yourself and ask us. We would far rather answer a question than watch somebody lose money.
The same goes for social media. Anyone can make an account with our name and our models' photographs. A direct message is not an offer of representation, and it never will be.
What a real agency does
A legitimate modelling agency in the UK makes its money when you make yours — commission on work it books for you. It does not charge you to join, and it does not sell you a portfolio.
If you are weighing up any agency, in London, Manchester or anywhere else, that is the single question worth asking: where does their money come from? If the answer is “from you”, walk away.
If it has already happened
Tell us, even if you feel foolish — you should not. This is designed to work on careful people. Knowing which name and which account is being used helps us get it taken down and warn the next person. Reach us through the contact page.
If you have paid money or sent documents, report it to Action Fraud and tell your bank straight away — banks can sometimes stop a payment that is only hours old.
If you are under 18, tell a parent or guardian first, before you do anything else.
